Women wanted in grand larceny incidents at Short Pump Town Center

Henrico Police are seeking several women they believe committed acts of grand larceny at Short Pump Town Center Aug. 18 and 21. In both incidents, merchandise worth several thousand dollars was stolen.

On Aug. 18, security cameras from a business at the mall captured two women enter the store around 6:37 p.m., then enter a fitting room with multiple items of clothing before exiting the store about 40 minutes later carrying the items in stolen backpacks.

On Aug. 23, officials at a store at the mall were reviewing security footage of an unrelated matter when they noticed footage from Aug. 21 that showed two women entering the store at about 4:10 p.m., selecting several items and placing them in a shopping cart, then walking out about 30 minutes later with the merchandise but without paying.

At least one of the women involved in the Aug. 21 incident appears to be a suspect in the Aug. 18 incident, according to police.
