The Henrico Theatre Summer Series will present An Evening of Song with Shannon Gibson Brown on Friday, August 25 at 7 p.m. Brown has been seen on many stages throughout the RVA area and is well known for her Patsy Cline renditions. Comedian Arnez J. will perform at the Richmond Funny Bone at the Short Pump Town Center on Aug. 25 at 10 p.m. and on Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. (all other shows are sold out). Arnez J. has made numerous television appearances and his comedy special "Racially Motivated" is on Netflix. Tickets are $37 to $47. The Richmond Showmasters Gun Show will be held at Richmond Raceway from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 26 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 27. Vendors at approximately 800 tables will sell, buy or trade guns, swords, knives, decoys, hunting supplies, reloading supplies and components, ammo, books, militaria and more. There also will be free 15 minute gun cleaning seminars and other classes. Admission is $13; children ages 12-17 are $7 and children under 12 are admitted free with a supervising adult. The Washington National Cathedral Choir will present “Camino di Santiago – The Road Home” at River Road Church, Baptist, 8000 River Road, on Sunday, Aug. 27 at 5 p.m. "The Road Home" celebrates the rich history of the Spanish Renaissance alongside the emerging wealth of American female composers of national and international renown.
