The Bizarre Bazaar will present its 46th Christmas Collection at Richmond Raceway from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 3-4 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 5. The holiday marketplace features over 475 exclusive exhibitors who will be selling seasonal gifts, home and garden décor, gourmet food, fine linens, clothing, artwork, jewelry and more. Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden will present the Dominion Energy GardenFest of Lights nightly from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 22 to Jan. 9 (closed Thanksgiving and Dec. 24-25). The annual event features one million lights, botanical decorations, model trains, holiday dinners, family activities and more. The theme for 2021 is “Naturally Connected.” New this year is a community-created Poems of Positivity light installation from Orlosky Studio. Tickets are $5 to $18 (children under three are free) and can only be purchased online. Each ticket has an arrival time. The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen will hold its Annual Tree Lighting and Illumination event on Saturday, Dec. 4. Enjoy live music by Offering, The Midnight Ukulele Society and others, visit with Santa, shop for handcrafted gift items in the gift shop, and stroll through the Center to see the artisan tree and wreath exhibit. Admission is free. The tree lighting program will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the illumination festival will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sponsored by CACGA and Henrico Recreation and Parks. The Shady Grove Coffeehouse at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church, 11105 Cauthorne Road in Glen Allen, will continue its 20th season with folk singer-songwriter John Gorka at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4. The concert will be held indoors so masks and proof of COVID-19 vaccination are required. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Children 12 and under are admitted to all concerts free of charge; teens 13-18 are admitted at half price. Net proceeds benefit UUCC. The Brencore Allstars Band will perform popular Christmas songs at a sing-along Saturday, Dec. 4 at 8 p.m. at the Henrico Theatre. The band includes fan favorites from The Ladies of Motown. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online at henricotheatre.com. For details, call 652-1460.
