The Armour House & Gardens will host an outdoor screening of the movie “Night at the Museum” on Friday, April 21 at sunset, which is approximately 7 p.m. Bring dinner (a food truck will be onsite as well), a lawn chair or blanket, and flashlight. On Earth Day, Saturday, April 22, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden will host a Community Day for Nature and Healing with free admission for all guests from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The day honors the memory of Jonah Holland, a Garden team member who passed away in 2022. Henrico Recreation & Parks and Keep Henrico Beautiful will host an Earth Day Festival at Deep Run Park on Saturday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be live music, activities for all ages (including face painting, seed planting, inflatables, a sensory-friendly activity tent, and more), vendors, exhibitors, and food truck refreshments. ComedySportz Richmond will present Shave a Life 2023, its annual fundraiser for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, on Saturday, April 22 at 2 p.m. at the CSz Richmond Theater, 8906-H West Broad Street. Two teams of improv heavyweights will battle it out for points and laughs in this special comedy match with raised stakes – somebody’s going home bald, including members of the audience. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation funds childhood cancer research grants. Tickets are $14.
