The annual Craftsmen’s Classic Art & Craft Festival – Christmas Show will be held Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Nov. 6 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Richmond Raceway. Thousands of items will be available to purchase from functional and whimsical to decorative, conservative and funky. Meet the artists and exhibitors and see the creative process in action. HATTheatre, located at 1124 Westbriar Drive in Henrico’s West End, will present Angie! at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 4-5 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 6. This “kind-of-musical comedy” by Don Zolidis is about Mya, who spectacularly snaps after getting cast as the dog’s understudy in her high school production of Annie. The Henrico Theatre, 305 East Nine Mile Road, will show two movies this weekend: “Top Gun: Maverick” at 7 p.m. Nov. 4 and at 8 p.m. Nov. 5, and “The Nightmare Before Christmas” at 3 p.m. Nov. 5-6. Fairfield Middle School and the Community Food Collaborative will host the Fall Fest at Cornerstone Farm on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to noon. During this “science fair meets farmers market,” view more than 30 showcases of student work, presented by Fairfield students and others across the county, and shop from 20+ farmers market and food vendors. The event also will feature onsite gardening workshops, tips from Fairfield’s community agriculturalists, 20+ community organization booths, food trucks, activities for children of all ages, and more. The Shady Grove Coffeehouse will continue its 21st season with folk and bluegrass musician Anya Hinkle on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church, 11105 Cauthorne Road in Glen Allen. She'll be accompanied by Drew Matulich of the Crossroads Stringband. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door; teens are admitted at half price and children 12 and under are free.
