Henrico Recreation and Parks will host Friday Night Fun Nov. 5 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Belmont Recreation Center, 1600 Hilliard Road. Families and children are invited to play basketball, foosball, skee-ball and board games of all kinds. Children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is free. The Shady Grove Coffeehouse at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church, 11105 Cauthorne Road in Glen Allen, will continue its 20th season with folk singer George Turman on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 4 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Children 12 and under are admitted to all concerts free of charge; teens 13-18 are admitted at half price. Net proceeds benefit UUCC.
