The Henrico Theatre Company will present “The Outsider” at 8 p.m. Sept. 30, 8 p.m. Oct. 1 and at 3 p.m. Oct. 2 at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen. This comedy, written by Paul Slade Smith, skewers politics and celebrates democracy. It centers around Ned Newley, who might be the worst candidate to ever run for office. The Latin Ballet of Virginia will present “Caribbean, Indigenous and African Influences on Latin Dance” on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. at Fairfield Library and at 2 p.m. at Tuckahoe Library. Dance and music are incorporated into this interactive one-hour class that introduces historical and cultural information about the Caribbean, Indigenous and African influences on the development of Latin dance.
