Henrico Recreation and Parks will host an outdoor screening of the movie “Kicking and Screaming” (2005, PG, 95 minutes) on Friday, July 15 at Glover Park, 11217 Greenwood Road. Bring a lawn chair, blanket and flashlight. The movie will begin at approximately 8:30 p.m. on the multipurpose fields. Concessions will be available for purchase. West Broad Village will host “Movies Under the Stars” featuring classic family-friendly films on Fridays in July. The Henrico Theatre, 305 East Nine Mile Road in Highland Springs, will show two movies this weekend – “Sing 2” (2021, PG, 110 minutes) at 7 p.m. July 15 and 3 p.m. July 16 and “The 355” (2022, PG-13, 122 minutes) at 8 p.m. July 16 and 3 p.m. July 17. The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen will host its second annual Maker’s Yard Sale on Saturday, July 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Local artists and crafters of all levels are invited to shop for new materials or get inspiration for their next project. This year’s yard sale will include jewelry making supplies, yarn and knitting supplies as well as fabrics and trims. The sale will be held indoors, and admission is free and open to the public. The Quebe Sisters will perform Sunday, July 17 at 7 p.m. at The Tin Pan, 8982 Quioccasin Road. The Quebe Sisters – comprised of Grace, Sophia and Hulda Quebe – front an innovative progressive western swing band of archtop guitar, upright bass, fiddles and sibling harmony. The Dallas-based five-piece presents a unique Americana blend of western swing, jazz-influenced swing, country, Texas-style fiddling, and western music. Doors open at 5 p.m. Tickets are $35.
