In addition to the juried all-media exhibition, there will be book signings with local authors, entertainment from juggler and magician Jonathan Austin, face painting, music and more. Henrico Recreation and Parks will present Dancing in the Street featuring The Escorts Band on Friday, May 20 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Deep Run Recreation Center. The Escorts Band covers hits from several decades. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Concessions will be available for purchase from local food trucks. Admission is free. The Henrico Theatre Company will perform “The Taffetas,” a musical journey through the fabulous 50s, at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen at 8 p.m. May 20-21 and at 3 p.m. May 22. Four singing sisters from Muncie, Ind., are making their national television debut on Dumont Television Network’s Spotlight on Music. Kaye, Peggy, Cheryl and Donna will pay tribute to the sounds of The McGuire Sisters, The Fontane Sisters and the Chordettes. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students. Dorey Park Farmers Market will host a Cajun Crawfish Boil on Saturday, May 21 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fleur-de-lis Farms, 2666 Kingsland Road in Varina. Dinner will consist of a Louisiana country boil of crawfish, corn, potatoes and fixings. There will also be drinks and live music by Sincerely, Iris. Tickets start at $50.
