The Armour House & Gardens at Meadowview Park, 4001 Clarendon Road, will host a Movie in the Park featuring “King Richard” (PG-13) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Apr. 8. The film is about tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams and their father and coach, Richard Williams. Viewing will be on the lawn adjacent to the main parking lot. Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden will host the Richmond African Violet Society Show & Sale Apr. 8-10. Interesting and unusual African violet varieties will be on display and available for purchase. Sale hours are 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Apr. 8 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Apr. 9-10. Show hours are 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Apr. 9 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Apr. 10. Reynolds Community College will host its first Spring Fling on Saturday, Apr. 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Parham Road Campus, 1651 East Parham Road. The University of Richmond will host “Musicircus” at 3 p.m. at Westhampton Green. Created in 1967 by John Cage, the Musicircus is a multimedia happening that invites artists to perform in the same place, at the same time. The result is a dizzying, kaleidoscopic soundscape that invites performers and audiences to reimagine what music can be. The family-friendly event is free to attend, but tickets are required.
