The Totally Rad Vintage Fest will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Richmond Raceway Complex. Curated vendors will be selling iconic clothing and accessories from the 80s, 90s, and Y2K eras, while also offering a diverse selection of records, toys, video games, home goods, and more. There also will be a free-play vintage arcade, throwback photo ops, and relics of the past at the Rad Rewind Museum. Tickets are $8 in advance and $12 at the door. OCA-CVC, the Central Virginia chapter of OCA Asian Pacific American Advocates, will host a Lunar New Year Celebration on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Tucker High School, 2910 North Parham Road. Attendees will enjoy an afternoon of fun, culture and community with activities such as a traditional lion dance, live performances, crafting stations and kids' activities, cultural displays, food and more. Local writer and editor Annie Tobey will share insider views and highlight the places and experiences featured in her recent book, 100 Things to Do in Richmond Before You Die, at Glen Allen Library on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 11 a.m. to noon. Many Henrico history sites, restaurants and recreational venues figure prominently within its pages. The Lakeside Winter Wonderland Market, a local collaborative market event, will take place Sunday, Jan. 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lakeside Farmers' Market, 6110 Lakeside Avenue. While the collaborative market is open weekly indoors, the Lakeside Winter Wonderland Market will expand into the outdoor pavilion to include even more local vendors to shop from. There also will be a craft suitable for all ages, a food truck, and music. Admission is free, open to the community and family-friendly. No pets. Click here for details.


The 16th Annual Israeli and Jewish Film Festival ends this weekend with two entries taking place in Henrico on Sunday, Jan. 26: Israel Swings for Gold at 2 p.m. at the University of Richmond's Jepson Alumni Center and 999: The Forgotten Girls at 7 p.m. at the Weinstein JCC.
