The Henrico Humane Society’s 21st Annual Pet Expo will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 12 at Richmond Raceway. Vendors and exhibitors will be on site selling pet-related products and services. A variety of activities, many of which involve pet participation, will be scheduled throughout the day. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $8 or at the door for $10; ages 6-12 are $5 and children under six and pets are admitted free. All proceeds benefit the Henrico Humane Society, an all-volunteer, nonprofit animal rescue organization founded in 1991. For details, visit henricohumane.org.
The Shady Grove Coffeehouse at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church, 11105 Cauthorne Road in Glen Allen, will continue its 20th season with East of Monroe on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Children 12 and under are admitted to all concerts free of charge; teens 13-18 are admitted at half price. Net proceeds benefit UUCC.
