Christmas at the Inn returns to the Virginia Cliffe Inn, 2900 Mountain Road in Glen Allen, Nov. 29 to Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Enjoy the festive decorations, savor the seasonal scents and mingle with crafters and the Clifton Family while shopping for handmade treasures throughout the house. Additional vendors will be in the enclosed heated pavilion and tent and the Clifton cottage. Many crafters take orders for personalized items and will deliver them to the Virginia Cliffe Inn. Each visitor will receive a complimentary shopping bag upon arrival. A central cashier will assist with purchases; cash, checks and credit cards are accepted. Christmas at The Inn, formally Christmas at Granny’s Craft Show, is a Glen Allen tradition that started in the 1980s. Tickets are $5. Actor, writer, dancer and comic Affion Crockett will perform at the Richmond Funny Bone in Short Pump at 7 p.m. Nov. 29 and at 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Nov. 30. Crockett has appeared in many movies including Undercover Brother 2, Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, Soul Men and The Wedding Ringer. He starred in and co-executive produced his own sketch comedy show for Fox called In the Flow with Affion Crockett, alongside Jamie Foxx. His first hour-long stand-up special titled Affion Crockett: Mirror II Society is now streaming on LOL Network, Sirius XM, Xumo, and Pluto TV. The Hermitage High School Band and Auxiliary Boosters will host their third annual Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school, 8301 Hungary Spring Road. Marcus Johnson will present "Smooth Jazz Christmas" at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 at The Tin Pan, 8982 Quioccasin Road. To date, Johnson has released more than 15 Billboard-charted CDs and has the distinction of having his groundbreaking 2008 Billboard Top 20 Contemporary Jazz FLO (For the Love Of) Anthology, which consisted of three distinct CDs – FLO Chill, FLO Romance and FLO Standards - all chart Top 10 on Billboard Contemporary Jazz Charts simultaneously. The release of Poetically Justified (2009) and This is How I Rock (2011), which were Top 20 Contemporary Jazz CDs, solidified Johnson's place in the funky urban groove music style and sound made famous by legendary jazz greats, George Duke and Herbie Hancock.
