The Henrico Theatre in Highland Springs will show “Respect” (PG-13) at 7 p.m. Feb. 4, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Feb. 5 and at 3 p.m. Feb. 6. “Respect” follows the rise of Aretha Franklin’s career, from a child singing in her father’s church’s choir to international stardom. Comedian Mark Viera will perform at the Richmond Funny Bone in Short Pump at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 4 and at 7 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Feb. 5. Born and raised in the Bronx in New York, Viera is known as the Latin Prince to his fans. He has appeared on numerous television shows and was recently asked to join comic icon Gabriel Iglesias’s “Unity Through Laughter” world tour. Tickets are $20. The 3 Redneck Tenors return to The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen on Saturday, Feb. 5 with a new show, “Broadway Bound.” The trailer park trio has finally made it to Times Square. The singing cousins will perform hits from favorite shows like “Phantom of the Opera,” “The Sound of Music,” “Les Misérables,” “Annie” and more. Tickets are $42. Biographer and filmmaker Elvatrice Belsches will give a multimedia presentation on “The Life and Legacy of Miss Virginia Estelle Randolph” on Saturday, Feb. 5 at Fairfield Library. The program will explore the extraordinary contributions of Randolph in the areas of education, public health and juvenile justice reform. Belsches is currently working on a documentary of Randolph’s legacy and is the recipient of a VA Humanities grant for her project.
