The Dorey Park Farmers Market will be open rain or shine from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 6. Local farmers and artisans will be selling a variety of fresh produce, baked goods, honey, eggs and handcrafted items. In addition, there will be music by Kevin Davis and Ban Caribe, a healthy cooking workshop by the Virginia Cooperative Extension, and a one-hour drop-in yoga session. Earth, Wind & Fire tribute band Let's Groove Tonight will perform at The Tin Pan on Sunday, July 7 at 7 p.m. The band is comprised of musicians passionate about accurately recreating EWF's iconic sounds including saxophonist Curtis Johnson (who toured with the original Earth, Wind & Fire band) and special guest vocalist Brent Carter (Average White Band and formerly Tower of Power).
