Crossroads Art Center will host its January Art Opening/Open House on Friday, Jan. 21 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The featured exhibits include Architects and Designers as Artists and the Juried All-Media Show. The Henrico Theatre, 305 East Nine Mile Road, will show “F9: The Fast Saga” (PG-13) at 7 p.m. Jan. 21, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Jan. 22 and at 3 p.m. Jan. 23. The Weinstein Jewish Community Center will host its 12th Annual Israeli Film Festival virtually through Jan. 30. Films available to watch this weekend include “The New Jew – Parts 1 and 2” (Jan. 21-22), “Upheaval: The Journey of Menachim Begin” (Jan. 21-23), and “Kiss Me Kosher” (Jan. 22-23). Tickets are $10 for JCC members and $12 for nonmembers; purchase an all-access pass to watch all seven films for $55 (members) or $70 (nonmembers). The Greenberg’s Great Train & Toy Show will take place at Richmond Raceway from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 22-23. The show features 250+ tables of trains for sale from more than 50 exhibitors from across the country. There will be free workshops and demonstrations, a riding train for kids, a free test track, door prize giveaways and more. Admission is $11 Jan. 22 and $10 Jan. 23; kids 11 and under are free. Steve Dorff will perform Sunday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. at The Tin Pan, 8982 Quioccasin Road. Recently inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in New York, Dorff’s songwriting career spans five decades. The Grammy- and Emmy-nominated musician has had songs recorded by more than 400 artists from all genres of music, as well as 28 movie scores and many theme songs and placements on TV shows.
