AUG 2The Henrico Teen Theatre Company will present “Stone in the Road” at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Aug. 2-3 at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen. This classic tale is about a queen who puts her subjects to the test: anyone kind enough to move a large boulder from the road will be handsomely rewarded with a job as royal counselor to the queen. Meadow Farm Museum will present “History in Focus: A Series” on select Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. All ages are invited to explore historical topics in detail with staff-led specialty tours. Masters of Sound DJs will present the 4th Annual RVA Soul House Fest from noon to 8 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Villa, 8000 Brook Road. The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen will present a Sunday Brunch Market from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The market will provide opportunities to shop a variety of farmers’ market and arts market vendors, relax on a picnic blanket on the grass, and enjoy lunch with the family. The event will also include art activities for the kids and live entertainment. Sunday Brunch Markets will continue the first Sunday of each month through November 3.
