The Quebe Sisters will perform at 8 p.m. at The Tin Pan, 8982 Quioccasin Road. The Quebe Sisters – Grace, Sophia and Hulda – have delivered their authentic triple-fiddle and three-part harmony sound to concert halls and festivals for more than 15 years. The Dallas-based Progressive Western Swing band features a unique Americana blend of western swing, jazz-influenced swing, country, Texas-style fiddling and western music. Certified child safety seat technicians from Henrico County Police Department will be at Varina Library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to offer drive thru safety seat inspections. The seat should be fully installed in the vehicle. A new Virginia law takes effect July 1 that requires children to ride in rear-facing child safety seats until age two or until they reach the minimum weight limit for a forward-facing child restraint device (as noted by the device’s manufacturer).
