APR 26The Vintage Home Market presented by Gracie’s Cottage will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. April 26 (VIP early bird shopping) and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 27 at Richmond Raceway. The Vintage Home Market is a gathering of vintage, shabby, rustic, coastal, French Country, industrial and Farmhouse chic dealers and artisans. April 27 tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door. *** The 11th annual RVA French Food Festival will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Apr. 26 and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Apr. 27 at Little Sisters of the Poor, 1503 Michaels Road in western Henrico. The festival features authentic French cuisine, live entertainment, kid’s activities, a vendor marketplace and more. Proceeds benefit Little Sisters of the Poor, a nonprofit nursing home for Virginia’s elderly poor. Admission is free, but donations are requested. Rain or shine. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation fights childhood cancer. Healthy Kids Day is an annual, nationwide initiative designed to inspire youth, parents and caregivers to get active and make healthy choices. The event is free and open to the community. Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 4491 Springfield Road, will host its 3rd annual Bluegrass Concert Series. The series features a monthly concert December through April from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tonight’s performer is the Damien Muller Band. Tickets are $17 in advance and $22 at the door. The Latin Ballet of Virginia will present “Fiesta del Sol (Celebration of the Sun)” featuring the culture and traditions of the Caribbean at the Henrico Theatre from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Performed by the professional company, “Fiesta del Sol” is a salute to Hispanic folklore dance theatre. Shady Grove Family YMCA, 11255 Nuckols Road, will host Healthy Kids Day! from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Activities include inflatables, games, face painting, arts and crafts, family Zumba and more. Odd Balls Collectibles & Claire’s Antiques will host their annual Spring Fling & Flea Market from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Merchant’s Walk Shopping Center at 7580 W. Broad Street. More than 40 outdoor vendors and 100 indoor vendors will be selling antiques, collectibles, toys, jewelry, furniture, arts and crafts and more. The Central Virginia Mustang Club will host the 14th Annual Central Virginia Spring Car Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mission BBQ, 5440 Glenside Drive. All makes and models are welcome. Prizes will be awarded by popular vote to Top Ten pre-1974 auto or truck, Top Ten 1975 to 1995 auto and truck, and Top Ten 1996 to Present auto or truck; dash plaques will be awarded to the first 50 vehicles. Wreaths Across America Richmond National Cemetery will host its 2nd Annual Car Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Regency Mall on the upper deck by JCPenney. Trophies will be awarded in the following classes: hot rod, antique, custom, muscle car, street rod, rat rod, motorcycle, import, trucks and exotic. The Clarke-Palmore House, 904 McCoul Street, will present “Pastimes During the Hard Times of the 1930s” from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon in the 1930s at the Clarke-Palmore House, home of Vera Palmore.
