The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen will present the 10th annual Djangoary Music Soiree at 7 p.m. Celebrate the creative influence of legendary Gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt. The event will feature Rhythm Future Quartet, Thomas Wakefield & Gypsy Roots, and special guests Dallas Vietty and Samuel Farthing in concert. The Virginia Writers Club Richmond Chapter will meet at the Publix at 2250 John Rolfe Parkway from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The special guest will be international bestselling author Brad Parks. Parks is the only writer to have won the Shamus, Nero and Lefty Awards, three of American crime fiction’s most prestigious prizes. ComedySportz Richmond will present “Meet and Greet: The Improv and Storytelling Show” featuring Big in Certain Countries at 9:30 p.m. BICC is an indie long-form improv troupe based in northern Virginia since 2012.
