The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen will hold an opening reception for the new exhibit “Next Level 2018” from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. This special exhibit is comprised of mixed-media artwork created by Center instructors and their students over the past year. The Bizarre Bazaar’s Spring Market, a Virginia tradition for over 42 years, returns to the Richmond Raceway Complex from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Apr. 6-7 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Apr. 8. Sō Percussion will perform at 7:30 p.m. at the University of Richmond’s Modlin Center for the Arts. Sō Percussion will be joined by renowned pianist Gilbert Kalish and Grammy-winning soprano Dawn Upshaw. The Movin’ & Shakin’ 5K will start at 9 a.m. at the Innsbrook Pavilion, 4901 Lake Brook Dr. The event is an opportunity for the community and those with a movement disorder, along with their friends and families, to gather and share hope, resources and the joy of movement. James River Cellars Winery, 11008 Washington Hwy. in Glen Allen, will host the April Fool’s Festival from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Apr. 7-8. Enjoy live music from Infinite Monkey Theorem and Blues Flash (Saturday) and The Dirty Runaways (Sunday) while tasting wine from six different wineries.
