Henrico County Recreation and Parks’ Adventure Series continues with “Marshall’s Voyage” from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the county Administrative Board Room at 4301 E. Parham Rd. In 1812, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Marshall led an expedition to find a practical river and canal route connecting Richmond to the Ohio River Valley. His work led to the creation of the James River and Kanawha Canal. Two hundred years later, Andrew Shaw and his crew retraced Marshall’s voyage. Shaw will discuss Marshall’s journey and its implications for infrastructure development in the Commonwealth and reflect on his own adventure. For ages 12 and older.  Admission is free. Three Penny Theatre will present “Later Life” Mar. 16-17 at the Gayton Kirk Presbyterian Church, 11421 Gayton Rd. “Later Life” is a second chance at love story. The production stars Mark Atkinson as Austin and Ann Davis as Ruth, a couple who is rekindling a romance begun almost 30 years ago. Part of the 2018 Acts of Faith Theatre Festival. The Southern Women’s Show will be at the Richmond Raceway Complex from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mar. 16, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mar. 17 and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mar. 18. Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 4491 Springfield Rd., will host its 2nd annual Bluegrass Concert Series. The series features a monthly concert from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. through May. Innsbrook will host its 9th annual St. Paddy’s Palooza from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Innsbrook Pavilion. There will be live music from 5 Second Rule, Yesterday & Tomorrow and School of Rock, as well as authentic bagpipe music and Irish dancers. Other activities include pony rides, a climbing wall, bouncy houses, petting zoo, hot air balloon, craft vendors, a balloon cave and more. Festive green beverages – for adults and kids – are available, as well as many food options. And, as always, the main attraction – watch volunteers have their heads shaved to raise money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, an organization that supports finding cures for childhood cancer. Tuckahoe Library will present Visual Family Trees for teens in grades 6-12 from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Learn about the importance of family history and basic genealogical research techniques and leave with a frame-able family tree of your own design. Christ Church Episcopal, 5000 Pouncey Tract Rd., will host a Children’s Consignment Sale from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The sale will then reopen at 12 p.m. with 50 percent off most items and continue from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. with 75 percent off.
