The event offers attendees an easy, interactive way to compare, shop and save with hundreds of local home pros in remodeling, kitchen and bath, gardening, outdoor spaces and more. Meadow Farm Museum will present History in Focus, a series held on the first Saturday of each month February through April, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. All ages are invited to explore historical topics in detail with staff-led specialty tours that include historic structures and artifacts. March’s topic is “Murder, Mayhem and Natural Causes” – a discussion of Mosby Sheppard’s career as a coroner during the early 1800s in Henrico County. The event is free. Sportable, the only adaptive sports club in Central Virginia, will host its first-ever RVA Adaptive Sports Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Glen Allen High School, through a partnership with the Henrico Division of Recreation and Parks. The event is designed to introduce more than a dozen adaptive sports to people who have physical disabilities and visual impairments. Sports will be showcased through demonstrations, pickup games and skills clinics. No previous adaptive sports experience or equipment is required. Registration is available at sportable.org.


St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 9801 Fort King Road, will hold its Spring Children’s Consignment Sale from 8 a.m. to noon with items at half-price from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Items for sale will include clothing, toys, books, baby gear and more. The Shady Grove Coffeehouse at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church, 11105 Cauthorne Road in Glen Allen, will present The Honey Dewdrops at 8 p.m. Consisting of Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish, The Honey Dewdrops pull their inspiration from the roots music of the Appalachian Mountains. The 2020 Mid-Atlantic Bunfest, a one-day festival celebrating all things bunny and Guinea pig, will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Richmond Raceway. Bunfest features educational seminars, interactive crafts for kids and adults, a critter spa and playground, face painting, critter glamour shots, vendors, a caricature artist, silent auctions, raffles and more. Boy Scouts Troop 799 will hold its annual yard sale at Trinity United Methodist Church, 903 Forest Avenue, from 8 a.m. to noon.
