VA Rep on Tour will present “Jolly Old St. Nicholas” at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen. This family-friendly musical is about Tuck and his father who are preparing for Christmas. Mr. Grumpasaurus tries to thwart their Christmas merriment but with the help of Santa and his elves, Christmas turns out to be the best one yet. Tickets are $15. Richmond’s leading Klezmer band, Heavy Shtetl, will perform at Tuckahoe Library from 4 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Featuring high-spirited Eastern European dance music, Heavy Shtetl includes a vocalist and five musicians.
