Water main break forces lane closure on West Broad Street in Short Pump

A water main break Wednesday morning at the intersection of West Broad Street and Old Sadler Road, near Short Pump's Interstate 64 interchange, has forced the closure of one lane of westbound West Broad Street. Additional lanes also may be closed, according to Henrico Police.
Travelers should consider other routes, such as Three Chopt Road or Interstate 64, to avoid this area. Henrico Public Utilities crews are on scene and will be addressing the issues during the coming hours, including during the evening rush hour, according to police.
