Water main break closes some lanes on Brook Road

Southbound lanes on Brook Road between Ridge Road and Lakeside Avenue in Henrico’s Northside are closed for emergency repairs Friday because of a water main break break in the area. The northbound left lane also is closed in the area.
Until work is complete, southbound drivers should use one of two possible detour routes:
• Wilkinson Road east to Chamberlayne Road/Route 301 south to Azalea Avenue west back to Brook Road/Route 1;
• Villa Park Drive west to Parham Road east to I-95 south to Chamberlayne Road/Route 301 (Exit 82) south to Azalea Avenue west back to Brook Road/Route 1.
