Walmart to host 11th annual 'Open Call' event for small businesses

The program is part of Walmart's $350-billion commitment to sourcing shelf-ready products made, grown, or assembled in the U.S., according to company officials. The 2024 Open Call will take place on September 24 and 25.
At the 2023 Open Call, Walmart and Sam's Club merchants heard more than 1,000 pitches from more than 700 businesses throughout the U.S. The application process is one-on-one, with each entrepreneur having the opportunity to meet with a Walmart or Sam's Club merchant.
