Walmart to celebrate remodeled Henrico store May 24

A fourth newly remodeled local Walmart Supercenter will reopen Friday, May 24 in Henrico.
The store at 6920 Forest Avenue is the latest in the Richmond region to be completely remodeled. It now features improved store layouts, expanded product selections, and technology designed to make shopping easier.
The location will host a community celebration and ribbon-cutting event at 10 a.m. Guests will be able to participate in activities that include face-painting provided by The Art Factory and food offerings from the Flavor Chariot food truck. Frito-Lay's Chester Cheetah also will make an appearance. Additional vendors including Coca-Cola, PepsiCo and Utz will be on-site with promotional items and activities.
The upgrades are part of Walmart's Signature Experience, which aims to provide customers with a more efficient shopping experience.
