Walk-up COVID-19 vaccination events planned at Virginia Union

Anyone 16 or older who lives in Henrico or Richmond can walk into the vaccination site at VUU May 7, 14 or 28 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on those days and get a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Second doses will be scheduled for each group exactly three weeks later at the same site.
On Wednesday, Henrico and RHHD officials announced that six walk-up events would take place at Richmond Raceway this month.
“We are continuing to open up easier and more accessible vaccination opportunities in all of our communities,” said RHHD Nurse Manager Amy Popovich. “We encourage anyone interested in getting a COVID-19 vaccine to come out to an event!”
