Dr. Mehrzad Boroujerdi, director of the Virginia Tech School of Public and International Affairs, will discuss his new book, Postrevolutionary Iran: A Political Handbook, Oct. 7 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Virginia Tech Richmond Center, 2810 N. Parham Road.
Sponsored by Virginia Tech’s Center for Public Administration and Policy, the Fall 2019 semester's "Dinner and a Lecture" is free and includes dinner, parking, and the lecture. Rick Fowler, Chief Lobbyist of the Virginia Government Employee Association, will also give an overview of the association and its history. Following the lecture, new and prospective students talk with Dr. Joe Rees, CPAP MPA director, and Professor Leisha LaRiviere, Associate Director of SPIA , about MPA programs, plans of study, and more. Attendees will participate in the development of elements of the VGEA 2020 General Assembly legislative package.
