On behalf of Gov. Glenn Youngkin, the organization donated 20 cases of eggs to Feed More in Richmond and 20 cases to Feeding Southwest Virginia in Abingdon. One dozen eggs will be distributed to each of 600 families. The VEC also donated a Paas Easter Egg decorating and dying kit, an "egg-cellent" spatula, and a recipe and nutrition guide for each family.

In addition, the council partnered with Eggland's Best to donate 100 vouchers for a free dozen eggs to the families of the medical staff at the Children's Hospital of Richmond. We are honored to be able to provide this nutritious, protein source for families in these areas,” said Lake Wagner, Owner and Operator of Dutt & Wagner and President of the Virginia Egg Council.
