The Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority will adjust its store hours, beginning Sept. 1.

All 399 stores will operate from noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays, a change for 14 stores. Additionally, 155 stores – including six in Henrico County – will close earlier Monday through Saturday, and all stores will open at their normal hours and close at 6 p.m. on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4.

The changes are designed to enhance efficiency, according to a statement from the agency.

Customers can visit Virginia ABC’s website at http://www.abc.virginia.gov to search for stores, determine the availability of products at any retail location and order spirits online for in-store or curbside pickup or home delivery in select areas.
