Virginia ABC plans May, June lotteries for Van Winkle products

Six of the most popular products from the Van Winkle family of whiskeys will be available for online purchase via the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority this spring.
The ABC's online lotteries will take place May 20-23 and June 10-13 and will allow winning customers to purchase products from the hard-to-find Van Winkle line. The lottery is open to Virginia residents 21 and older, as well as active duty military members stationed in Virginia.
Each round of the lottery will have a different set of products available, with the Old Rip Van Winkle Bourbon 10 Year, Van Winkle Special Reserve Bourbon 12 Year and Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye 13 Year available through the May lottery and the Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve Bourbon 15 Year, Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve Bourbon 20 Year and Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve Bourbon 23 Year available for winners of the June lottery.
Lottery purchases are completed online. At time of pickup at their chosen local Virginia ABC store, winners must present an approved form of identification. The ID information must exactly match the information presented at the time of lottery entry.
