A Virginia nonprofit is offering forgivable loans of as much as $3,000 for Virginia-based small businesses. The Virginia 30 Day Fund’s loans are intended to provide immediate financial assistance (within a maximum three days) to meet payroll, preserve healthcare coverage for employees and save jobs while waiting for approved federal funding.

Businesses will get an answer in three days, and those approved can expect an immediate transfer of funds, according to nonprofit entrepreneur Pete Snyder. Qualifying businesses must be based in Virginia, have operated for at least a year, employ between three and 30 people and be owned and operated by a Virginia resident.
