Veterans benefits seminar coming to Richmond Oct. 11

DAV (Disabled American Veterans), a nonprofit charity that provides support for veterans and their families, will hold an information seminar Oct. 11 in Richmond.The seminar is free and will take place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Military Retirees Club, 2220 Sledd Street in Richmond.
Staffed by DAV national service officers, the information seminars help veterans and their families obtain the services and benefits they have earned, and provide professional support throughout the claims and appeals process.
Veterans attending a seminar should bring identification, their Social Security number and any other pertinent documentation regarding their military service. DAV membership is not required to utilize these free services.
