VDOT 'Touch-A-Truck' event planned Oct. 26

The Chesterfield County Fairgrounds will be hosting VDOT’s Touch-A-Truck event Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in advance of National Crash Responders Safety Week.
The free event will allow families to meet their local first responders and learn about safety and rescue vehicles, including fire trucks, helicopters, police cars, motorcycles, tow trucks, and antique fire trucks. It also will include safety demonstrations.
Parking for the event will be at Lloyd C. Bird High School. National Crash Responders Safety Week runs from Nov. 18-22.
