VDOT to host online public meeting about Staples Mill Road Small Area Plan Jan. 13

The Virginia Department of Transportation will hold a virtual public meeting for an ongoing study of the Staples Mill Road (Route 33) Small Area Plan in Henrico County Jan. 13, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The purpose of the study is to identify multimodal transportation needs and improvements on Staples Mill Road and other key streets near the Staples Mill Road Amtrak Station in Henrico. These conceptual transportation solutions may be eligible for funding resources in the future, including the Smart Scale program.
The meeting will consist of an informational presentation from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by a question and answer session from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. To pre-register to attend the public meeting, visit http://bit.ly/StaplesMillMeeting1.
