VCU Health establishes virtual clinic to screen for COVID-19

Table of Contents

VCU Health is restoring clinical services and appointments with virtual urgent clinics for people who may have COVID-19 symptoms. VCU Health providers can assess patients for mild to moderate virus symptoms and can then provide the necessary steps if patients show symptoms. The program will also refer a patient to in-person care if needed. VCU Health providers also may be available to assess other urgent health issues.

The virtual clinic will be available to adults in Virginia between 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Virtual urgent assessments can be accessed without an appointment by visiting vcuhealth.org/anywhere.

VCU Health also is implemented virtual visitation and greeting card programs for those wishing to communicate with loved ones in the hospital. In addition, it has enacted vigorous disinfecting measures and mandatory testing for patients and adults with or without COVID-19 symptoms.

Drive-thru testing will be available to any individual who has scheduled appointments or surgeries. Learn more by visiting the VCU Health website.
