Varina School Board member Atkins to host town hall meeting Aug. 17

Henrico School Board member Alicia Atkins, of the Varina District, will host an in-person Varina District Town Hall Meeting Aug. 17 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at John Rolfe Middle School to kick off the 2021-22 school year.
Also appearing at the meeting will be several guest speakers, including Henrico Superintendent Amy Cashwell, who will provide a short update on back-to-school plans. Families will be able to receive information about available resources for the new school year.
A livestream of the meeting also will be made available at http://www.henricoschools.us, and a recording of the meeting will be posted online afterwards.
