Varina Ruritan Club car show crowns 6 winners, raises funds

The Varina Ruritan Club held its second car show in early November at its location on Recreation Road. A total of 61 cars showed up to compete for six trophies that were made by Kenny “Dorod” Doustout, a club member.
Many locals turned out to see the antique cars, and the club sold Brunswick stew and other items. Funds raised through the event will help the club donate to assist with various community needs.
