Drivers who take the Varina Enon Bridge on I-295 will have to navigate with a reduced number of lanes for the next six months.

The right lane on the southbound side of the bridge will close on Monday, July 22 for bridge maintenance and will remain closed for about half a year, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The current right-lane closure on the northbound side of the bridge will be removed over two nights, beginning July 23, and it will completely reopen July 25.
