Varina District meeting Aug. 3 to focus on Sandston

Varina District Supervisor Tyrone E. Nelson will hold a Community Conversations meeting Monday, Aug. 3 to highlight projects and topics of interest to the Sandston area.

The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Sandston Elementary School, 7 Naglee Avenue and livestreamed on the Henrico County Government channel on YouTube.com. Those attending will receive temperature checks and be required to wear face coverings to enter the meeting.

Nelson will be joined by County Manager John A. Vithoulkas, who will provide a budget update. Representatives of various departments, including Community Revitalization, Planning, Recreation and Parks, Police and Public Works, as well as Henrico County Public Schools will discuss their efforts in the Sandston community.
