Varina District community meetings planned Oct. 21

Henrico Board of Supervisors Chair and Varina District Supervisor Tyrone Nelson will host identical community meetings Monday, Oct. 21 to provide updates about a variety of government projects and initiatives. The meetings will take place in person and virtually.

The first will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Henrico Theatre, 305 East Nine Mile Road in Highland Springs, and will be accessible through WebEx, while the second will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Varina High School auditorium, 7053 Messer Road, and will be accessible through WebEx.

The meetings will cover topics such as recreation and parks, voting in the upcoming Nov. 5 election, public safety, road and sidewalk improvements, and the new GRTC Link microtransit service in Sandston.
