Varina church to screen 'My Brother's Crossing' June 15

Laurel Hill Global Methodist Church will be screening the movie My Brothers' Crossing June 15, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The church is located at 1919 New Market Road in Varina (near the Varina Area Library).
The 2019 movie tells the true story of a crash that occurred in August 2015 in Southwest Virginia (when a truck driven by a Black man struck and killed a white couple) and its aftermath, when the community comes together to show forgiveness.
