University of Richmond named most beautiful campus in the nation

The campus of the University of Richmond was named the most beautiful in the nation by the 2024 edition of the Princeton Review, which was released Aug. 15. The guide ranks colleges and universities according to a wide variety of categories related to academics, amenities, school services, campus culture, extracurriculars, and others.

UR was ranked in the top 10 on the following lists:
No. 1 Most Beautiful Campus
No. 3 Best-Run Colleges
No. 3 Best Classroom Experience
No. 5 Most Accessible Professors
No. 7 Best Science Lab Facilities
No. 7 Best Athletic Facilities
No. 9 Best Quality of Life
No. 10 Happiest Students
No. 10 Everyone Plays Intramural Sports

UR also was included in the top 25 on the following lists:
No. 11 Best Campus Food
No. 11 Best Career Services
No. 14 Best College Library
No. 15 Professors Get High Marks
No. 15 Best College Dorms
No. 16 Best Student Support and Counseling Services
No. 19 Students Study the Most
No. 24 Their Students Love These Colleges

The Princeton Review selects colleges for the guidebook based on academic offerings. The ranking lists are entirely based on student surveys.

Earlier this year, the University of Richmond was named to The Princeton Review’s list of the Best Value Colleges for 2023 and ranked No. 3 among private schools on the Best Schools for Internships list. UR was also ranked as a Top 50 Green College.
