Trinity UMC will host the 2022 Dillard Forum, featuring Dr. Norbert Wilson, Nov. 6-7 at the church (903 Forest Avenue).  Wilson is professor of food, economics, and community at Duke Divinity School and is an ordained vocational deacon in the Episcopal Church USA.

The forum will focus on food issues such as equity in access to food, food waste, and the ramifications of food choices. Events are free to attend, but participants should register in advance for the Nov. 7 Zoom meeting, a discussion with Q&A, to be held at noon.  Registrants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

In-person events will include a Nov. 6 presentation, "U.S. Food Security: We Must Do Better", and a Nov. 7 presentation, "Charity and Justice:  Old Ways to Address Contemporary Food Insecurity."  Both events will be held at 7 p.m. in Trinity’s Sanctuary.
