Traffic shift happening soon at Parham/Patterson intersection

During the week of July 12, the Virginia Department of Transportation will begin a traffic shift in conjunction with the ongoing intersection improvements project for Patterson Avenue and Parham Road in Henrico County.
Both directions of Patterson Avenue traffic will be shifted towards the median, and both directions of Parham Road traffic will be shifted to the east.
The traffic switch will allow work to begin on the outside shoulders of both routes. All traffic switch movements will be completed during overnight hours. During the switch, motorists should expect the intersection to be shut down for short durations.
Weather permitting, the traffic shift will be fully implemented by Thursday, July 15.
