Tech for Troops, a local organization that accepts and restores donated laptops for use by homeless and disabled military veterans, recently won the Security 101 Gift of Security grant.

The Gift of Security is a national corporate giving initiative that provides $10,000 worth of integrated security services from Security 101 and equipment from product partners Axis Communications and WESCO. The grand prize is awarded to one nonprofit in each region served by a Security 101 office and installed by local team members.

“We are so proud and excited to be voted as the winner of the Security 101 Gift of Security for 2019,” said Mark Casper, director of Tech For Troops in the Richmond region. “This award will help us double down on our commitment to a secure infrastructure both physically and digitally.”

In 2018, Tech for Troops delivered nearly $400,000 worth of refurbished laptops to homeless and disabled veterans nationwide. For details, visit techfortroops.org.
