Study ranks Glen Allen fourth statewide in 'high-end' rental options

Glen Allen ranked fourth in Virginia among the best places to rent high-end apartments, according to a study by RENTCafé.com, a nationwide apartment search website.

The company found that the average rent in Glen Allen is $1,424 per month for an average of 973 square feet of space, with 92% of apartments in the community designated as “high-end” space.

Two other Richmond-area localities – Chester and Midlothian – ranked first and second in the survey, which used apartment data for more than 600 localities statewide.

Newport News was third and Suffolk fifth. Glen Allen had the highest share of high-end apartments and the greatest percentage of apartments in “top locations” (82%) among the top five.
