Staples Mill Road ramp to I-64W to close June 16 for lighting project

Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation will close the ramp from Staples Mill Road north to I-64 west in Henrico County from 11 p.m. June 15 to 6 a.m. June 16 to facilitate roadway lighting installation.

If inclement weather impacts work June 16, the ramp also may be closed during the same time frame the following day. Single and double lane closures also will be in place in the area throughout the week.

During the ramp closure, drivers will be detoured along Staples Mill Road north to Glenside Drive west to I-64.
